JJJ Interviews Caroline Sunshine!
Caroline Sunshine is one of our greatest celeb fans and in turn, we are one of hers.
Especially since she was among the first to take part in our JJJ Book Club National Book Week initiative. Do you read the same things as the 16-year-old actress? Check it out below!
What is your favorite book and why?
“The Notebook” by Nicholas Sparks. I love it because it makes me laugh and cry at the same time. Plus, I love the time period it is set in (1940’s) and when I read it, it totally transports me to another place!
Why should everyone read it?
Nicolas Sparks writes so beautifully first of all. His words are very poetic yet relatable. You get very caught up in the storyline and attached to the characters. Once you pick up this novel, you won’t be able to put it down!
What’s the first book you remember reading?
“Goodnight Moon” by Margaret Wise Brown. My mom would read it to me when I was little and when I was old enough I would read it to her. I still remember the one phrase, “Goodnight stars, goodnight air, goodnight noises everywhere.”
Do you judge the book by its cover?
No. I judge a book by what’s inside the cover.
How do you feel about all the books being made into movies?
I think it’s great. I love it when books are made into movies because I can compare the images I saw inside my head when I was reading the novel to what is on screen. Sometimes I like what I had in my head better, but a lot of times the movie only enhances the novel and brings it to life. I’m really looking forward to one of my favorite novels “The Great Gatsby” being adapted to film this year.
